When we visit the Northwoods, one of our favorite field trips is Bond Falls, MI. Located about forty-five minutes away from the cottage, these little waterfalls are nestled among the lodgepole pines of the Michigan upper peninsula. And while the park hosting the trailhead leading to the falls is not much more than a swing-set with a few picnic tables, the short hike never fails to disappoint. It's something that will never get old and I look forward to every time we make the trek.
Clean air, blue skies, fluffy clouds, waterfalls, baby hands on wildflowers, this is pure Michigan.
